First snow... it was fun those days |
There was a sharp right turn from 20th to BelRed here... not anymore -- all covered with snow |
28th street neat Microsoft |
My windshield has crached from temperature strain |
Piles of snow at Microsoft campus |
This intersection turned into a complete mess... |
Even 4WD cars were getting stuck sometimes... |
And this is what 156th turned into couple days ago... further ahead actually it became even worse. At that point you knew you could go through it -- but only if you don't stop. If you loose your speed, you are stuck. |
Here I'm trying to leave the house of my friends... My car was sitting in the snow on its belly; when I opened the door, I stratched off some snow. Surprisingly though, I was still able to move though this mess quite reliably. |

See the track of my car?... and the snow between them removed by the car's belly? :)) |

Compare the trucks. The big ones are left by some poor fellow who probably did not know what to do if you are somewhat stuck in the snow -- so he apparently was just pushing the gas pedal like crazy, leaving these huge deep scars down to the asphalt level. He made the road nearly unusable for others! The depth of his traces is such that if you enter one, you may not be able to drive your car out, it will be stuck in that ditch. Compare to my traces [curved, to the right]. By accelerating gently, I was able to move much easier. |
